Brushing and Flossing

You should brush your teeth at least two times a day. This helps remove bacteria-causing plaque to keep your teeth, gums, and mouth clean and healthy. Use a soft bristle toothbrush and toothpaste that contains fluoride when you brush your teeth. Spend at least a minute on the top teeth and a minute on the bottom teeth. Don’t forget to brush your tongue, it will help keep your breath fresh!

You should floss between your teeth at least once a day. Your toothbrush bristles can’t reach everywhere in your mouth, flossing helps get rid of decay-causing bacteria that can linger between teeth. Rinsing with mouthwash helps to kill bacteria, plaque, and food particles from those hard to reach places as well.
